The Lincoln Memorial Cent was minted from 1959 to 2008. During this time period, the majority of mintages were above one billion due to the prevalence of the denomination in circulation. There were several years earlier in the series with mintages below the one billion mark, most notably some of the circulation strike San Francisco Mint issues.The highest mintage occurred for the 1982 Lincoln Cent, the year when the composition was changed to primarily zinc. The lowest mintage for this date range occurred for the 1968-S Lincoln Cent.
